Follow quiet hours and remember that wind, birds, water, and a crackling fire can be part of the evening too. You do not need expensive equipment to have fun at camp. Camping gives people something that can be hard to find during normal life: time together without many distractions.

Let the weather and location help decide what you do. A rainy afternoon may be perfect for cards and stories, while a sunny morning may call for a walk or nature hunt.
